BEYOND TALKING
Jolene Ironside spent years building financial systems for corporations, while quietly training in the therapies that would become her life's work. Heart in Mind is the practice that grew from that long thread: trauma-trained, neuroaffirming, and shaped entirely around the person sitting in the room.

Editions are funny things. You plan them like a dinner party — who sits where, who tells the best stories — and then the guests walk in and make the whole thing their own. This month the seat at the head of the table belongs to Larissa Hawkins of GlassFrog, a woman who left a career in employment law because she decided work should be something you actually want to wake up for. Her cover story is one of the sharpest arguments for doing things your own way that we have printed yet. Elsewhere it is a full house. Three members sit down for their first interviews — Kim Allen, Michelle Passfield and Sam Rubenstine. Seven businesses step into the Spotlight, from a hat hire empire to a children's crime publisher on the fells. The Edit runs from acoustics to accountancy, and the Newsroom takes on the Autumn Budget, the high street and the quiet risks hiding inside good businesses. Every page of it is built on the same idea this magazine started with: Britain's small businesses are not small stories. Who says business has to be boring?
